Using the Google Cloud Console to Configure ProsperOps for Autonomous Discount Management

This article assumes you are configuring ProsperOps access for Autonomous Discount Management using the ProsperOps Console onboarding flow.

Please follow the ProsperOps Console onboarding flow. This article describes configuration steps assuming the permissions previously created for our Savings Analysis are still in place (the most common scenario). If that's not the case (e.g., you adjusted permissions after our Savings Analysis was generated), our ProsperOps Console onboarding flow will dynamically adapt and provide customized guidance, so the steps in this article may not match precisely. If that happens, please see this help article for additional step-by-step guidance.

⚠️  IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure you are using a browser profile where you're authenticated with your corporate Google credentials, not your personal Gmail account.

Adding Permissions to the Custom ProsperOps Role

Return to the ProsperOps Console and click the ProsperOps IAM role link

  • You will be taken directly to the custom ProsperOps IAM role you previously created. Click the Edit Role button.

  • Click the Add Permissions button.

  • Copy the first permission from the ProsperOps Console into the Filter field. Check the filtered permission to add it, clear the filter, and repeat. When all 10 permissions have been added, click the Add button.

  • You should now see a total of 18 permissions listed for the role. This is comprised of the original 8 permissions you added for the Savings Analysis as well as the 10 new permissions you added for Autonomous Discount Management. Click Update to update the role.

  • Return to the ProsperOps Console and click the Validate button.

  • Once the updated role is validated, you are ready for Autonomous Discount Management!
