Does ProsperOps move commitment between customers to manage their risk?

Section 5.4.2 of the AWS Service Terms state that compute commitment instruments are non-transferable, unless they are Standard Reserved Instances transferred in accordance with the Rules of the RI marketplace (https://aws.amazon.com/service-terms/). Savings Plans, EC2 Dedicated Hosts, Scheduled Instances and Convertible Reserved Instances are never transferable between customers.

Other services, such as Reserved DB instances (Section 10.2) and Reserved Cache Nodes (Section 17.2) are also nontransferable.

There are Standard RI brokers who will illegally move commitments between customers, which breaches the customer’s AWS Service Terms. ProsperOps does not engage in this practice.
